Code Examples are Public Domain

Unless indicated otherwise, code snippets included in tutorials or blog posts can be considered public domain. Example code is intended to help my readers; you are free to copy, distribute, modify, sell, compile as you see fit, in any form and without the expectation of credit (but it’s always nice!). Example code that is derived from other people’s works will be indicated in the post, and their copyrights still apply. My larger works (e.g. stuff in my Github repos) that code examples in a blog post might originate from retain any licenses they include.
